Insurance & Payments
Forms of Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Interac, Cheque and Cash as forms of payment. Payment of all monies owed is due at the time of the appointment. We want quality dental care to be affordable to all. If you are having major work done you may ask our reception team about payment options.
Dental Insurance Plans
We are pleased to offer dental insurance assignment for your convenience. This means that if you have active dental insurance that pays to the dentist, you will only need to pay us the amount not covered by your insurance at the time of your appointment. Unfortunately if your insurance company is "Non-assignable" you will have to pay the entire balance at the time of your appointment and we will submit the claim for you so that the insurance company will reimburse you in a timely manner.
Please understand that we offer this service as a convenience to you and we are in no way in a contract with your insurance company. We can never guarantee what your insurance company will pay and you are responsible for any amount not covered by your insurance. We encourage you to become familiar with your plan in order to avoid disappointment and unplanned expenses. Some things that you may want to know about your insurance are: annual maximum, deductibles, hygiene frequency, fluoride allowance and scaling allowance.
For all major work such as crowns, bridges, dentures and implants we will send a pre-authorization to your insurance company so that you will know before hand what your insurance company is intending to pay. Keep in mind that many insurance companies put an expiry date on their pre-authorizations and you also still need to keep in mind that even though a procedure is approved, it is subject to your plan's yearly maximum.
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Our staff have years of experience with dental insurance companies and we would be happy to help you understand your dental benefits.
